JUKEBOX SAINTS FAQS
Is Ammonius Soulstar a real person?
Yes… and no. Ammonius Soulstar is both a man and a symbol. He’s a real person—the one behind the music, writing, producing, and testifying of Christ. But he also represents something bigger than himself. Anyone can embody Ammonius Soulstar, just like anyone can carry the gospel in their own way. The man behind the music? He stays anonymous on purpose—because this is about the message, not the man.
Are the jukebox saints artists real?
Again, yes and no. They are fictional, but their stories, testimonies, and talents are all inspired by real people—friends, family, and faithful Saints who have shaped Ammonius' life. These artists carry the voices, struggles, and faith of those who have found Christ and held onto Him. They may not have government-issued IDs, but their faith is real.
Are you Mormon?
Technically, yes, but we don’t use that term anymore. The correct name of the church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are Latter-day Saints—disciples of Jesus Christ, believers in His gospel, and followers of His restored church. Christ is the center of everything we do. His Atonement, His example, and His resurrection define our lives.
What does do lds people believe?
First and foremost, we believe in Jesus Christ—that He is the Son of God, the Savior, and the Redeemer of all mankind. We believe His gospel was restored through a living prophet and that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. We believe in revelation—that the Spirit of God speaks to our hearts and minds and that everyone has the power to pray and receive answers from the Lord. You don’t have to take my word for it—ask God. Seek, knock, and He will open the door.
Are Latter-day Saints Christian?
Without a doubt. But I know there’s a lot of misunderstanding out there. Some say we aren’t, and that’s heartbreaking. I know Jesus Christ. I have felt His love, His power, and His presence in my life. No one can take that from me. He has healed me, lifted me, and changed me. I know Him. He knows me. And through Him, I can do all things.
If you’re unsure, if you have doubts, I invite you to find out for yourself. “Knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” (Matthew 7:7)
Is Jukebox Saints Records for everyone?
Probably not. I grew up on hip-hop, R&B, funk—music that moves the soul. Not everyone is going to vibe with that, and that’s okay. The gospel is universal, but musical taste? Not so much.
This isn’t about trying to please everyone. This is about testifying of Christ in a way that’s authentic to me. If you love it—welcome to the groove. If not? No offense taken. The important thing is the message—and that’s for everyone.
Why did you start Jukebox Saints Records?
First? To testify of Jesus Christ. His love, His mercy, His redemption. Second? Because I needed the funk. I love gospel music and hymns, but I also need that groove—the kind that speaks to my soul.
Over time, I became more sensitive to the Spirit. I realized a lot of the music I used to love pushed Him away. So I made my own. Music that lets me groove AND feel the Spirit. I never expected it to become anything big—it was just for me. But now? It’s for anyone who needs it.
Is all your music AI-generated?
Yes… and no. I use AI as a tool, but every lyric, harmony, and beat is intentional. Some songs use AI more than others, but there is heart in all of it. This music is an expression of my testimony, and testimonies aren’t automated.
Do you make all types of music?
Not really. I know R&B, funk, hip-hop—but ask me to make country or pop, and it’s still gonna have some soul in it. That’s just how I hear music. I can step into different styles, but at the end of the day, it’s always gonna have some groove.
What is the purpose of Jukebox Saints Records?
Simple: To invite people to come unto Christ. To remind them He lives. That He is real, and His Atonement is for YOU.
I don’t try to convince or convert—that’s between you and God. But if you truly want to know, if you sincerely seek truth, He will answer you. He will let you feel His love. And when that happens? Everything changes.
