Most babies enter the world with a cry—Hyramel Groover arrived with a perfectly timed drum fill. Born quite literally on a disco dance floor (don’t ask about the logistics), his destiny was sealed before he could even walk. By the time he was potty-trained, he was already moonwalking, and while other kids were learning their ABCs, Hyramel was memorizing James Brown’s footwork and perfecting his mustache game.

Raised in the rugged Rockies, Hyramel wasn’t just a funk addict—he was a spiritual seeker. While most found peace in quiet meditation, he found it in a perfectly executed bassline. His mountaintop musings often turned into impromptu dance breaks, and rumor has it he once converted an entire herd of elk to the gospel simply by hitting a groove so righteous, they couldn’t resist prancing in perfect unison.

Then came the vision. Mid-stride on a high-altitude boogie, he gazed upon an LDS temple in the distance and thought, If Zion’s got that much glory, it needs a soundtrack. From that moment on, he dedicated his life to blending celestial harmonies with the sacred rhythms of funk, disco, and soul.

But even the funkiest preacher of groove needs a duet partner, and that’s where Ammonae Scott entered the picture. Their harmonies? Heaven-sent. Their chemistry? A testimony in itself. Together, they’re proving that faith and funk, love and soul, all belong in the same divine groove.
