Maquiel Fyah’s story is one of faith, fire, and a whole lot of groove. Born in Haiti, he moved to Long Island, New York, at 15, searching for a better future—but he found something even greater. When missionaries knocked on his door, he wasn’t quite ready to commit, but their message sparked a flame. Over the next four years, Maquiel put Moroni’s promise to the test, praying, studying, and searching until the truth burned in his soul.

With a degree in law school under his belt, Maquiel had the world at his feet—but his heart was elsewhere. Instead of courtrooms, he felt called to praise the Lord through music. Now, he honors the Savior and testifies of Christ’s Atonement through island-infused gospel R&B. A frequent collaborator with Nephio Finter, Maquiel brings soulful Caribbean grooves with a testimony as strong as the waves that shaped his homeland.

When he’s not making music, he’s leading his family with love, honoring his priesthood, and living his covenants. Through every song, every rhythm, and every lyric, Maquiel is on a mission to help others build their lives on the rock of Christ.
