LDS hiphop artist MELCHIZEDEK METHOD pondering the scriptures and words of Christ

MELCHIZEDEK METHOD

Melchizedek Method wasn’t always a preacher with a mic—he was a lost soul looking for a way out. Born and raised in Seattle, he grew up in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but somewhere along the way, he drifted. God faded into the background, and the streets became his new doctrine. Chasing quick money and numbing the emptiness, he thought he had it all figured out—until he landed in prison.

That’s where everything changed. Trapped in a cell with nowhere to run, he was forced to face himself, his choices, and the hole in his soul. Desperate, he clung to one last mustard seed of faith. He cracked open the scriptures, started reading, and something sparked. The gospel wasn’t just words—it was life, redemption, and hope. He picked up a pen, turned his testimony into bars, and before long, he was rapping the gospel to his fellow inmates, turning prison yards into pulpits.

When he walked free, he knew his mission wasn’t over. Now, he tours the country, performing in prisons, sharing his story, and inviting others to Christ. His past doesn’t define him—his testimony does. That’s why Jukebox Saints Records had to sign him. Because when Melchizedek Method steps up to the mic, he's not just rapping—he’s preaching.
